Lead Generation : This is the most important work of a BDA as the lead and the company have no connection to one another. You should act as the middle ground and establish the initial communication to let the lead know what is what
Cold Calling : This is the 2nd most important work as most of the leads that we talk to might not know who we are and why we are telephoning them. We should communicate in such a way that a good rapport is created and we get to put the message across using the proper terminologies
Follow Up : People are always busy, so you need to catch up with them when they are free and follow up with the earlier mentioned call or talk.
Fixing Appointments : Once both parties get the message across and satisfied, appointments should be decided so that you get to show your product to the customer or lead to see if it will be beneficial for them.
Building Network : After one satisfied customer, you should focus on building a network of such customers through them and improve your own network for improving and developing your business network
Marketing : Being a BDA doesn't mean you are just a Sales Person. Some companies might not be a big brand as one would presume. You have to start from the scratch and you show them your product in their perspective needs
Customer Support : Services promised should always be kept and doubts,concerns should be clarified at once to ensure a happy smiling customer
Post Sales Support : Technical Issues and Escalations should be a must known skill for a BDA . They should be able to de-escalate an issues raised against them or the company.
