Jawaharlal Nehru University's Faridabad Regional Center for Biotechnology Examination will be held this year.
Performance in this test will be considered for admission to 1121 seats in Biotechnology related programs in 62 Universities MSc, MSc (Agri) / MVSc and M.Tech level. These include the Cochin University of Science and Technology, the Rajiv Gandhi Center for Biotechnology at Thiruvananthapuram and the Kerala Agricultural University (Thrissur). The opportunity is for those who have qualified in Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary, Fishery Science, Pharmacy, Engineering, Technology, Medicine, Dental Surgery, Physician Assistant.
Test
A three-hour test through computers at 30 centers in 57 centers, including Thiruvananthapuram and Thrissur. There are 2 parts to the test:
A) 60 compulsory questions in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at Plus Two level
B) In Bachelor's degree, 60 of the 100 questions in Biology, Biotechnology, Biology and related subjects should be answered.
All multiple choice questions. There are negative marks. Examination will be held on July 20. Those who get the test score should send a notice on the notification of the interested institutions and send in another application in real time.
Other information
Students will receive a monthly stipend in the following order.
MSc Biotechnology and related subjects: Rs 5000/month
MSc Agricultural Biotechnology: Rs 7500/month
MTech / MVSC Programs: Rs 12000/month
